php - How do I rewrite my dynamic urls's to static without a folder extension? -


i need url /index.php?side=forside /forside/ , still contents includes folder index page.

how can .htaccess file? read lot of other questions , answers on topic, don't work or change url ex. /side/forside or /side/forside.html , not want...

i have tried this:

options +followsymlinks rewriteengine on rewriterule index/side/(.*)/ index.php?side=$1

but when remove index/side/ doesn't work?

if it's 1 side have, seems logical use:

rewriterule ^forside/ index.php?side=forside

if have lot of sides; use:

rewriterule ^([a-z]+)side/ index.php?side=$1
