how to increase keyboard height in android -


in activity, want increase height of keyboard, not space between keys.

i have tried few things far.

first, created keyboard view in xml file. 

<android.inputmethodservice.keyboardview         android:id="@+id/keyboardview"         android:layout_width="match_parent"         android:layout_height="match_parent"         android:focusable="true"         android:focusableintouchmode="true"         android:visibility="gone" />

and called same thing in java code

it not working , tried example

tried link not working

i have gone through android developer site link , found 1 method in keyboard view

public keyboard (context context, int xmllayoutresid, int modeid, int width, int height)

could me solve problem? how increase size of keyboard height.
