.net web service Oracle database connection issue -


i have .net web service have inherited (asmx). fine, until database goes down maintenance. once happens, web service can't connect oracle 11g database until app pool recycled. web service uses datalayer other applications use. have been looking around out luck on causing issue. advice or experience similar great.
