apache - permanent redirect 301 for using regex for wordpress -


i moved corephp based site wordpress site , changed domain name also. urls save in database. seo , other purpose want permanent redirect old urls new urls. url sample old php site :

/article/edleman-japan-names-rowbury-president

url sample new site like: 

http://newdomain.com/edleman-japan-names-rowbury-president

how can permanent redirect 301 thourgh .htaccess using regular expression because have 10000 urls saved in db.

here sample .htaccess file :

redirect 301 /myfolder/article/edleman-japan-names-rowbury-president

redirectmatch 301 ^/article/edleman-japan-names-rowbury-president/([a-za-z0-9_-]*) http://target.url.com/$1
