.htaccess - Redirect Website Homepage Only -


i have 2 different websites hosted on different servers. redirect homepage of old site (www.oldsite.com.au) homepage of new site (newsite.com.au). however, not want pages within old site (www.oldsite.com.au/page) redirect new 1 (newsite.com.au/page). so, www.oldsite.com.au must redirect newsite.com.au, other pages or files within old site must not redirect.

all .htaccess ideas i've tried redirect every file old site new one.

try 1 of these:

redirectmatch 301 ^/$ http://newsite.com.au/

or

rewriteengine on rewriterule ^$ http://newsite.com.au/ [l,r=301]

if don't want 301 (permanent) redirect, remove 301 redirectmatch or =301 square brackets in rule's flags.

linux - disk space limitation when creating war file -
